| dc.description.abstract | Este relatório surge no âmbito do Curso de Mestrado em Enfermagem, Área de Especialização em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica, desenvolvido pela Universidade Católica Portuguesa, tendo como finalidade descrever os estágios efetuados durante a realização do mesmo. Pretende-se ainda refletir de forma crítica sobre as atividades desenvolvidas, assim como a aquisição e o desenvolvimento de competências científicas, técnicas, relacionais e humanas, especializadas na área da Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica. Este curso compreende a realização de três módulos de estágio, desenvolvidos em Serviço de Urgência, Unidade de Cuidados Intensivos e outro opcional. Uma vez que uma das minhas áreas de interesse é o Bloco Operatório, optei por efetuar o estágio opcional em Bloco Operatório, pensando também na possibilidade de vir a trabalhar nesta área futuramente. Até ao momento já desempenhei funções durante um período de cerca de cinco anos em serviço de urgência. Contudo creio que é parte da nossa responsabilidade acompanhar o avanço das novas tecnologias e a reaprendizagem de novas formas de atuação, teorias e técnicas numa enfermagem cada vez mais especializada, ainda para mais numa fase tão jovem de carreira em que temos que consolidar bem as nossas práticas e respetiva fundamentação teórica. A Ordem dos Enfermeiros defende que o Enfermeiro especialista na Pessoa em Situação Critica deve possuir a capacidade de mobilizar os conhecimentos e habilidades múltiplas para responder atempadamente e de forma holística à complexidade das situações de saúde e à pessoa em situação de doença crítica e/ou falência orgânica e sua família. Como tal, atuei no sentido de mobilizar conhecimentos e desenvolver competências, no intuito de prestar cuidados nas diversas situações ao doente crítico. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | This report represents the result of the master’s degree “Curso de Mestrado em Enfermagem área de Especialização em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica” granted by the Universidade Católica Portuguesa. It is also intended to reflect critically on the activities developed, as well as the acquisition and development of scientific, technical, relational and human skills, specialized in the area of Medical-Surgical Nursing. This master’s degree includes three stages: emergency department, intensive care unit and optional. Since one of my areas of interest is the Operative Block, I opted to perform the optional stage in the Operative Block, also thinking about the possibility of working in this area in the near future. Up to now I held positions for a period of five years in emergency service. However, I believe that it is our responsibility to monitor the progress of new technologies and the relearning of new ways of acting, theories and techniques in an increasingly specialized nursing in these days, even more so in a very young phase of career in which we have to consolidate our practices and their theoretical basis In these days, more and more, we have to make sure that all the care provided is properly grounded in solid and safe knowledge. Portuguese Order of Nurses believes that the specialist nurse in critical situation is the one who mobilizes multiple knowledge and skills to respond in a timely and holistic manner to the complexity of health situations and to the person in critical disease situation and / or organic failure and his family. Therefore, I acted in the sense of incorporating the knowledge and developing skills, in order to provide care in the various situations to the critical patient. | pt_PT |
