Abstract(s)
O presente estudo tem como objetivo compreender a forma como as vertentes de informação e entretenimento se articulam num formato de infoentretenimento. O enquadramento do tema é feito através de uma revisão de literatura que pretende abordar as principais características do infoentretenimento e as dúvidas que se levantam sobre este tipo de formato. Através da análise do formato ‘Esta Manhã’, programa de infoentretenimento português, a investigação presente neste relatório é apoiada por uma
metodologia mista, que inclui uma análise de conteúdo e uma análise temática de entrevistas realizadas a responsáveis pela produção do programa. Deste modo é possível refletir sobre a importância que os formatos de infoentretenimento têm no panorama televisivo português e compreender, de forma mais detalhada, os critérios que se têm em conta durante o processo de produção de um programa deste género. Através desta investigação conclui-se que o infoentretenimento é um formato que se destaca pela proximidade que consegue criar entre o telespectador e o apresentador e que, apesar das críticas e dúvidas que enfrenta, pode ser um formato que valoriza a informação e a forma como esta é tratada.
The present study aims to understand how information and entertainment are articulated in an infotainment format. The theme is framed through a literature review that aims to address the main characteristics of infotainment and the doubts that arise about this type of format. Through the analysis of the format ‘Esta Manhã’, a portuguese infotainment program, this investigation is reinforced by a mixed methodology, which includes a content analysis and a thematic analysis of interviews carried out with those responsible for producing the program. In this way, it is possible to reflect on the importance that infotainment formats have in the portuguese television landscape and understand, in more detail, the criteria that are taken into account during the production process of a program of this type. Throughout this investigation it is concluded that infotainment is a format that stands out for the proximity it manages to create between the viewer and the presenter and that, despite the criticism and doubts it face, it can be a format that values information and the way in which this is treated.
