Abstract(s)
A investigação surgiu no âmbito do estágio no

The investigation arose within the internship on the production department in RTP, with the creation of the case study about the talk show “5 Para a Meia-Noite”, as a consequence of being one of the most accompanied shows. For this purpose and through a literature research, it was possible to analyze and construct a theoretical framing that enabled the development of the study case issued. An analysis of the show’s production and reception was carried out, via documents provided by RTP and data from the inquiries conducted to the viewers of the show for a better understanding of their consumption. With the report finalized, it was found that both RTP as well as the tv show “5 Para a Meia-Noite” have been adapting to the new digital era, taking into consideration the viewer’s reluctance to use the new ways if interaction, going against the current narrative that there is massification of the use of technologies for audiovisual consumption.
