Este artigo pretende refletir sobre a cúmplice relação entre a temática das Inteligências Múltiplas e o Universo das Expressões Artísticas. Tem como particular objetivo explorar a influência do ensino da área da Expressão Dramática, praticado nas escolas, enquanto disciplina curricular do 3º ciclo do Ensino Básico, na formação integral dos alunos e realçar, recorrendo à fundamentação teórico-prática, o extraordinário papel coadjuvante no desenvolvimento das Inteligências Múltiplas. Tendo sido consignado à educação artística um direito humano universal, pela Convenção da Unicef sobre os Direitos da Criança - adotada pela Assembleia Geral das Nações Unidas em 1989 e ratificada por Portugal em 1990 - torna-se pertinente refletir e averiguar a forma como se concretiza este projeto em particular, distinguir se a prática se coaduna com a política a nível do reconhecimento do valor da educação artística na escola.
This article aims to reflect on the complicit relationship between the theme of Multiple Intelligences and the universe of Artistic Expressions. Specifically, it aims to: firstly, explore the influence Dramatic Expression education as practiced in schools, as a curricular discipline of the 3rd level of Basic Education, in the integral formation of students; secondly, to highlight, using the theoretical and practical reasons, the extraordinary supporting role in developing Multiple Intelligences. Having art education been consigned a universal human right, by the Convention of UNICEF on children’s rights – Declaration adopted by the United Nations General Assembly in 1989 and ratified by Portugal in 1990 -, it is pertinent to reflect and both to find out how to implement this particular project, and to distinguish whether the practice is consistent with the policy at the level of recognition of the value of Arts Education in School.
