| dc.description.abstract | Networking became a tool to deal with business growth barriers, to achieve resources and a crucial tool for entrepreneurial growth. The ability to promote new networking ties to their tenants became crucial for the Business Incubators but the networking mechanisms creating and developing these ties are unclear. Working in a Network, in a context of collaboration between Incubators has been cited has a tool to enhance the networking capabilities. A Regional Network of Incubators provides an even stronger context for networking due to the territorial proximity and similarities between the actors, therefore stimulating interactions that should be based on strong ties, according the “bonding “context. Our study provides a contextualization of how networking happens in this scenario; The usage of Brokers, Particular Events, Casual Meetings and Digital tools were identified as mechanisms types and in the context of our study they were developed into particular networking mechanisms or in other terms the activities that initiate and develop valuable relationship ties: Referrals; Sharing Start-ups; Business/ University /Entrepreneurial Events; Journal Publishing; Trips; Dinners; Celebrations; Communication tools; Websites and Social Media. The study identifies and develops the topic of networking mechanisms. Finally the study confirms the creation of Strong relationship ties in the context of the Regional Network of Incubators by confirming three traits : Availability; Trust and Friendship. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | Networking passou a ser uma ferramenta para adquirir recursos, lidar com barreiras de negócio e uma ferramenta crucial para o crescimento empreendedor. Para as Incubadoras de Negócio a capacidade de promover novos relacionamentos/contactos para as suas start-ups passou a ser fundamental mas os mecanismos que criam e facilitam essa criação não são claros. Para as Incubadoras, trabalhar em rede, em um contexto de colaboração foi referido pela literatura como uma forma de desenvolver a capacidade de networking destas entidades. As redes Regionais de Incubação proporcionam um cenário ainda melhor para o contexto de networking, devido á proximidade territorial e semelhanças entre as Incubadoras da Rede, é, portanto, expectável que as interações entre estes atores (em contexto de “Bonding”) gerem ligações fortes. O nosso estudo providencia uma contextualização de como é que networking funciona no contexto de uma Rede Regional de Incubadoras. O uso de Intermediários, Eventos Particulares, Reuniões Informais e Ferramentas Digitais foram identificados como tipos de mecanismos que iniciam e desenvolvem ligações de valor acrescentado e foram desenvolvidos no contexto do nosso estudo em: Referencias; Partilha de start-ups; Eventos de Negócios, de Universidades e de Empreendedorismo; Publicações em Jornais; Viagens; Jantares/Almoços; Celebrações; Ferramentas de Comunicação; Sites e Redes Sociais. O estudo identifica e desenvolve o tópico de mecanismos de networking. Por fim, o estudo confirma a criação de ligações/relacionamentos fortes no contexto da Rede Regional de Incubadoras, identificando três traços: disponibilidade, confiança e amizade. | pt_PT |
