| dc.description.abstract | O presente artigo pretende abordar sistematicamente a componente da negação verbal, tema integrante da sintaxe da Língua Gestual Portuguesa (LGP). À falta de investigação estruturada e à falta de uma Gramática de LGP mais aprofundada, surgiu a necessidade de se estudar esta língua de forma detalhada, debruçando assim o olhar sobre esta temática de forma a empreender a reorganização e a construção de uma Gramática de LGP mais pormenorizada. Partindo de uma análise decorrente da recolha de entrevistas em LGP, sob forma de discurso informal de tema incitado, e da análise de um documentário em LGP, procurar-se-á refletir acerca das construções de negação verbal recorrentes e esclarecer o modo como estas estruturas poderão ser formadas e que classificações poderão assumir na LGP. Realizar-se-á ainda uma abordagem comparativa e analógica entre a LGP e outras línguas gestuais, com o intuito de compreender a existência de semelhanças e de traços diferenciados no que concerne ao processo da negação verbal em língua gestual. Será dado a conhecer um conjunto de marcadores (manuais e não manuais) que de certa forma assinalam ou contribuem para a formação da negação bem como uma proposta de segmentação da negação em LGP em dois ramos alicerçais: a Negação Regular (sincrónica, assincrónica e flexão verbal nos tempos passado, presente e futuro) e a Negação Irregular. | dc.description.abstract | This paper aims to systematize the verbal negation in Portuguese Sign Language (LGP). From the lack of structured information about LGP’s Grammar and linguistic behavior comes out the necessity to study this language in a more detailed way, namely the subject matter. To oppose to this lack linguistic description, the present research gives an analysis and characterization of the structure and formation of verbal negation in LGP, based on video-recorded interviews, with informal incited speech, and video documentary with LGP deaf signers. The formation of negative sentences in LGP are compared with the same negative constructions from other sign languages in an attempt to verify similarities and differences between sign languages. It will be made known a group of negative markers (manual and non-manual) that contribute to the formation of the negation in LGP as well as a suggestion of segmentation in two main pillars: the regular form of negation (synchronic, asynchronous and past, present and future inflexion) and the irregular negative form. It will be shown the reason why we can assume the non-manual marker “headshake” is grammatical. | pt_PT |
