Abstract(s)
A presente dissertação versará sobre as novas formas de alojamento turístico, procurando destacar os empreendimentos de último grito, entre os quais o Glamping, que se figura em múltiplos moldes. Paralelamente, os bungalows, as eco pods, as mobile homes e as tree houses, por apresentarem uma estrutura distinta e híbrida de uma tenda, serão comparativamente analisados na fase final. A verdade é que, recentemente, no âmbito do setor do turismo, temos vindo a assistir a uma autêntica revolução e modernização ao nível das ofertas de alojamento, que têm proporcionado experiências muito distintas das dos empreendimentos turísticos tradicionais. Com efeito, o surgimento de novas formas de alojamento turístico com características diferenciadoras e muito próprias suscita a necessidade e o interesse do respetivo aprofundamento numa tentativa de abordagem ao seu regime urbanístico e ambiental, no âmbito do qual emergem as questões que pretendemos apurar e problematizar. Assim, começaremos por elaborar um breve enquadramento dos empreendimentos turísticos, de seguida debruçar-nos-emos, primeiramente, sobre o Glamping, procurando discutir um possível regime autonomizado – que até aos dias de hoje é inexistente; seguiremos para uma análise exploratória dos bungalows, eco pods, mobile homes e tree houses. Finalmente, o objetivo central das páginas que se seguem será propor um enquadramento urbanístico ao Glamping.
This dissertation will deal with the new ways of tourist accommodation, seeking to highlight the latest developments, among which glamping can appear in multiple molds. In parallel, the bungalows, eco pods, mobile homes, and tree houses, as they present such a different and hybrid tent structure, will be analyzed in the end. The truth is, that recently, in the tourism sector, we have been assisting to a revolution and modernization regarding the level of accommodation offers, that provides unique and different experiences comparing to the usual ventures existing so far. However, the so-called new forms of tourist accommodation, as they have their own characteristics, require due care and deepening regarding to the regime and urbanistic concerns. We add that the issues we intend investigate and discuss are urban-environmental in nature. Thus, we start by elaborating a brief framework on tourist developments, then we will focus, firstly on Glamping, trying to discuss a possible regime – which to this day in non-existent; followed by bungalows, eco pods, mobile homes and tree houses. Finally, the central objective of the following pages will therefore be to provide an urban framework of Glamping.
