Abstract(s)
A recent careful and demanding search by today’s society, for a better aesthetic served as a propulsion for the development of new and better dental restoration techniques, which resulted in the development of materials that came to accompany the evolution of these same techniques. These new techniques allow to obtain good results, although these same results are rarely achieved without the proper choice of material, adequate layers, approaches and applications that are largely relate to the product, that clarify the importance of understanding and mastering the various techniques available, essential for clinical success. The objective of this dissertation is to carry out a literature review with a focus injectable composite resin technique. A search was therefore made for articles related to the technique, found through the search engines PUBMED and MEDLINE and the database from the UCP library. This technique allows the rehabilitation of one or more teeth in the anterior and / or posterior sector through the use of a transparent matrix, presenting itself as a viable and promising alternative to the other existing techniques, namely because it is a conservative solution with high predictability that allows excellent communication with the patient and reversibility of the results. However, the success of these treatments depends on correct planning and approach, in order to achieve a predictive result.
