| dc.description.abstract | Nesta era de mutações constantes, pensar em novos modelos de Sociedade, é necessariamente pensar em novas formas de relações sociais. Actualmente o modelo de sociedade gera estratificações associadas ao factor idade com reflexos no conceito de velhice e nas interacções sociais e institucionais. Por outro lado a sociedade pós-moderna estimula um envelhecimento activo com vista à produção de velhices classificadas de 4ª idade. Quem profissionalmente lida directamente com pessoas de idade que recorrem a instituições de apoio, apercebe-se da construção de laços de afectividade entre estes e os funcionários da instituição, produzindo muitas vezes, um efeito de substituição alternativo da família em prol dos elementos que constituem as equipas de trabalho das instituições. O presente trabalho pretende compreender as relações afectivas das pessoas de idade com as suas famílias biológicas e com as instituições a que recorrem e especificamente conhecer situações de transferência afectiva por parte das pessoas de idade para com os profissionais a trabalhar na área do terceiro sector. Em algumas situações apresentam-se como o único suporte social que a pessoa de idade encontra, como refúgio para desenvolver a sua auto-estima e se comprometer com a vida e o meio envolvente. Especificando os mecanismos de corte, de ruptura entre as pessoas de idade e as suas famílias, constituem uma alternativa, baseada na procura de reorganização das suas formas de interacção com os outros e com o meio, formando novas formas de agir de pensar e de se socializar. | por |
| dc.description.abstract | In this time of constant mutations, thinking about new forms of society, is necessarily, thinking of new forms of social relations. Currently the society model generates stratifications associated with the age factor with reflections on the concept of old age and social and institutional interactions. On the other hand the post-modern society encourages active aging looking to produce old age qualified as 4th age. Those who deal directly with the elderly, also realize the making of affectional bonds between the aged and the staff of institutions, often producing a alternative substitution effect of the family in favor of those who constitute the work teams of institutions. The present work aims to understand the underlying issues of the elderly and their biological family, in order to understand why, in some situations the elderly transfer (affective) emotional relationships toward the professionals working in the area of the 3rd Sector. Introducing himself as the only social support that the elderly finds, as a refuge to develop his self-esteem and engage with life and his surroundings. Specifying the cut, rupture mechanisms between the elderly and their families, constitutes an alternative, based on the demand for reorganization of their ways of interacting with others and with the environment, creating new ways of thinking of acting and of socialize. | por |
