The aging and the end of life are a “problem” for contemporary society. The increase in life expectancy and hence the high number of
old people represent major challenges to postmodern culture. Moreover, we live in a time that promotes the cult of beauty and well-being, and the
body is, so to speak, the deception of this new conception of being a subject. “On behalf of the earth” is a work permeated by thematization and
problematization of the twilight of life, featuring old age, the end of life (death) and faith.
