- O balneário público “um importante recurso comunitário na cidade de Lisboa”Publication . Figueiredo, Amélia; Santos, Alexandra; Lourenço, Margarida; Vidal, TeresaIntrodução: Segundo o PNS 2011-2016 um dos eixos estratégicos para o Sistema de Saúde centra-se na promoção da “Cidadania para uma cultura de saúde e bem-estar, de realização dos projetos de vida pessoais, familiares e das comunidades” (DGS, 2012, p.2). Dando resposta à missão da UCP, no âmbito dos projetos comunitários, e entendendo o banho como atividade de dignificação humana onde os enfermeiros são os atores de proximidade com o corpo da pessoa vulnerável, surge este projeto com o objetivo de contribuir para a promoção de saúde dos utilizadores de um Balneário Público de Lisboa. Metodologia: Como estratégia central optamos por um estudo de caso sobre aqueles utilizadores sustentado numa pesquisa documental em arquivos históricos Municipais. Completa-se a recolha de dados com recurso à entrevista exploratória a atores de relevo na problemática em estudo. Resultados e Discussão: O balneário Público continua a ser um recurso de vital importân¬cia na atualidade. O banho é uma necessidade humana básica da maior importância para o bem-estar da pessoa, na relação consigo e com os outros (Ribeiro; Costa, 2012). Conclusão: Este espaço municipal carece da implementação de estratégias de intervenção comunitária, partindo de recursos endógenos, envolvendo outros atores, nomeadamente Enfermeiros com vista à promoção da saúde.
- Bibliotecas universitárias portuguesas no universo da web 2.0.Publication . Santos, Alexandra; Andrade, AntónioA agregação das designadas tecnologias da Web 2.0 aos serviços materializados nos Websites e nos portais das grandes instituições tem provocado um forte impacto, em particular, no plano da concepção dos serviços, do marketing e da aprendizagem social. O presente artigo analisa um sector tradicional como sãos as bibliotecas, mas no seio de um ambiente inovador e exigente como as universidades, no sentido de identificar como estará este conceito e recurso a ser adoptado nas bibliotecas das universidades portuguesas. Adoptando a metodologia de estudo de caso e recorrendo à revisão bibliográfica para identificar plataformas e produtos Web 2.0 foi construída uma grelha de análise dos Websites das bibliotecas das universidades portuguesas, onde são contempladas algumas plataformas de publicação, discussão, partilha, relacionamento, agregação e colaboração, analisáveis no plano do seu acesso, participação e edição de conteúdos, sejam eles feitos exclusivamente pela instituição, ou pelos próprios utilizadores. Com base nesta análise foi possível concluir que as bibliotecas das universidades portuguesas ainda não adoptaram uma cultura organizacional que incorpore plenamente este tipo de plataformas, apesar de todas as potencialidades que delas podem advir no plano do desenvolvimento da inteligência colectiva.
- Drug Addiction: The Relationship Between Nursing Interventions And Sensitive Outcomes. A Systematic Literature ReviewPublication . Seabra, Paulo; Santos, Alexandra; Garcia, Lurdes; Amendoeira, José; Sá, LuísBackground and Significance: The analysis of care contribution provided by different professionals and the results of their interventions is a recommendation that emerges from the practice stems, from costs concerns and to re-structure health services. The need to deepen the nursing contribution, to health outcomes achieved by people, is our challenge. We need to show further evidence that nursing sensitive health outcomes can contribute to health benefits of the people and pronounce today, the nursing role. This evidence may help to thinking about the practice, allowing that the new knowledge generated, contributes to its effectiveness. When we are dealing with a subjective and multidimensional state as drug addiction, with people in a methadone maintenance program, the health outcomes systematization is no easy task. Objectives/Aims: Identify nursing sensitive health outcomes with drug addicts and identify nursing interventions involved. Methods: We mobilize the guide lines of the Cochrane Center. We formulate the research question and determine the inclusion criteria by PI[C] OS method. We searched in B-on and Ebsco platforms and access to Scielo, Lilacs, Medicaribe databases. We search studies with samples above 18 years. Results: We selected 8 articles from a survey of 353 primary search. We found evidence of 17 nursing sensitive outcomes, which may be grouped into: clinical, functional status, health status knowledge, self care and nursing care satisfaction. These results were evaluated in different contexts of care practices. We found 12 nursing interventions responsible for those results. Four of the researches are randomized control trials. Conclusions/Implications: There is evidence that nursing care concern in its approach with the characteristic complexity of this chronic disease. Nurses contribute and influence health outcomes obtained by drugs addicts. Through the health promotion, drug administration, the therapeutic relationship and the counseling, among other interventions, nurses contribute mostly to the knowledge of the disease and treatments, help to reduce drug consumption, manage the withdrawal and the management of medication effects. This review indicates the need to probe the outcomes and the effectiveness of nursing intervention. There is no evidence of this type of research in Portugal.

Santos, Alexandra; Barata, Carolina; Subtil, Eulália; Frade, José; Silva, JoséThe intervention of conservation and restoration of an eighteenth century cutlery case and its historical, material and technical study, allowed not only to restore the physical integrity and original function of the case, but also to deepen the knowledge about the materials and constructive system of the storage furniture, which embodies an important testimony of the table etiquette developed in the Portuguese society of the eighteenth century, under the influence of the French court of Louis XIV . This article aims to describe the historical and aesthetical context in which this piece has emerged and its material and technical features based on the results of the laboratorial analysis that were performed.

Thus, the evaluation of the quality of services undertakes a vital role in the competitiveness of the organization. One of the main instruments of the new services is the website for which there are generic or specific evaluation methods directed to different public with or without the application of the technology. Therefore, the models of quality evaluation that allow to evaluate websites during the creation, development and maintenance processes are describe. Those processes configure different dimensions and factors demostrating and identifying a prevalence for the use, context and interaction of the websites.
