A tese faz a análise dos documentos surgidos após a Reforma Conciliar, numa perspectiva
«arquitecturológica», de modo a estabelecer os princípios fundamentais para «construção»
dum verdadeiro espaço litúrgico. A nova eclesiologia, como as novas condições de vida (habitat) do homem moderno, exigem um génie du lieu chrétien onde um conjunto de significações imediatamente perceptíveis, dizem d’Aquele que congrega à volta do altar a comunidade de todos os crentes. O modelo da igreja-casa é o modelo onde uma dimensão de acolhimento e de hospitalidade, própria às nossas casas, diz da reunião «por Cristo, com Cristo e em Cristo».
This text analyses documents published after the Conciliar Reform, from an ‘architecturological’ perspective, in order to establish fundamental principles for the ‘construction’ of a true liturgical space. The new ecclesiology, like the new living conditions (habitat) of modern mankind, demand a génie du lieu chrétien where a set of immediately perceptible meanings tell of Him who brings the community of all believers together around the altar. The model of the ‘church-home’ is the model where a dimension of welcome and hospitality, proper to our own homes, tells of meeting “through Christ, with Christ and in Christ”.
