Com o presente trabalho pretende-se analisar a construção jurisprudencial portuguesa criada acerca do conceito de acidente de trabalho, tendo por base a noção legal e doutrinal de acidente de trabalho. A análise objecto deste trabalho terá como mote um paralelismo constante entre a doutrina e a jurisprudência de forma a perceber-se de que forma é que a jurisprudência portuguesa tem contribuído para complementar e concretizar os diferentes elementos que compõem a figura do acidente de trabalho. Sendo assim, este estudo será feito partindo do mais abstracto (doutrina) para o mais concreto (jurisprudência) – tendo de se ter em atenção que este é um tema em que a doutrina não é abundante.
With the present essay it is intended to analyze the portuguese jurisprudential construction created about the concept of work accident, using the legal and doctrinal notion of work accident. The analyses object of this thesis will have as motto a constante parallelism between doctrine and jurisprudence in a way to understand in what ways has the portuguese jurisprudence contributed to complement and materialize the diferent elements that make up the figure of work accident. Therefore, this study will bem ade starting from the most abstract (doctrine) to the most concrete (jurisprudence) – having to be aware that this is a theme in which the doctrine isn’t very abundant.
