Abstract(s)
This brief essay on Sophia's poetic art, spilled not only in her well-known texts (Arte Poetica) but throughout her work, aims to reach the raw material on which the Porto poet builds her gaze on the world. In this look, the sacred, the transcendent and the peculiarly Christian converge, the best of Western culture, from Homer to Rilke or Holderlin, or "the accuracy of the Cross, in the white light of Crete"
