| dc.description.abstract | Em 1928, Carl Dreyer realizou A Paixão de Joana d’Arc, investindo tempo na representação dos rostos de todas as personagens. Permitia ao espectador ver a alma de cada uma delas nas imagens estilizadas da realidade. Mais tarde, outros realizadores como Robert Bresson e Andrei Tarkovski utilizaram também o tempo como revelação do t(T)ranscendente na imagem em movimento. No princípio dos anos 2000, apareceu um novo género de cinema, o cinema extensivo, que vai também servir-se do tempo como forma de resistência a um cinema de consumo, e que pretende exprimir o mistério do mundo através da sua banalidade, que também é a sua beleza. | por |
| dc.description.abstract | In 1928 Carl Dreyer directed The Passion of Joan of Arc, investing time in the representation of the faces of every character. It enabled the viewer to see into the soul of each of them in the stylized images of reality. Later, other directors like Robert Bresson and Andrei Tarkovski also used time as a means of revealing the t(T)ranscendent in the image in movement. In the early 2000s, a new genre of cinema appeared – expanded cinema – which has also made use of time as a form of resistance to consumer cinema, and which seeks to express the mystery of the world through its banality, which is also its beauty. | eng |
