Abstract(s)
Finding the ethical path, the thread of the author’s ethics and perhaps defining his complexion and ethical
framework, in Eternity, is our challenge. Ferreira de Castro’s intuitive thinking anticipates what science
would show as truth. His attention to social disagreement in Eternity is the cry of life as existence and the
human cry as behaviour. When speaking of death, contrary to what we might think - that death is before us –,we see in this work, that in fact much of our death is behind us, because all the existence we left behind
already belongs to eternity. Eternity is in its essence a bioethical cry because it is always a cry for life.
