| dc.description.abstract | O estudo geogrĆ”fico dos grupos religiosos minoritĆ”rios em Portugal assume particular importĆ¢ncia na atualidade, perĆodo no qual o paĆs consolida a imagem de uma sociedade pĆ³s-moderna, cada vez mais aberta, hĆbrida e plural, mas tambĆ©m fragmentada. As alteraƧƵes ocorridas no territĆ³rio nacional, sobretudo apĆ³s o 25 de abril de 1974 e a integraĆ§Ć£o de Portugal na UniĆ£o Europeia a 1 de janeiro de 1986, com as consequentes alteraƧƵes em muitos setores da sociedade, mostraram um paĆs mais diverso e multicultural, fruto de uma sociedade mais permeĆ”vel no domĆnio interno, dotada de maior liberdade de expressĆ£o, associaĆ§Ć£o e manifestaĆ§Ć£o. Neste contexto, ocorreu uma maior abertura a outras identidades e culturas, assim como Ć partilha de valores, comportamentos, atitudes e crenƧas religiosas. Nos nossos dias, a problemĆ”tica da(s) espacialidade(s) da religiĆ£o Ć© igualmente importante quando se pretende entender, de forma mais abrangente, as questƵes estruturantes da sociedade portuguesa, sendo evidente a integraĆ§Ć£o de Portugal nos grandes ciclos ou movimentos migratĆ³rios do sĆ©culo XXI. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | The geographic study of minority religious groups in Portugal is of particular importance today, a period in which the country consolidates the image of a postmodern society, increasingly open, hybrid and plural, but also fragmented. The changes that took place in the national territory, especially after the Revolution of the 25th of April 1974 and the integration of Portugal into the European Union on the 1st of January 1986, with the consequent changes on the structures and in many sectors of society, showed a more diverse and multicultural country, result of a more permeable internal society, endowed of a wider freedom of expression, association and manifestation. In this context, the country became more open to other identities and cultures, as well as the sharing of values, behaviors, attitudes and religious beliefs. Nowadays, the problematic of spatiality(ies) of religion is equally important when it is intended to understand, in a more comprehensive way, the structuring questions of Portuguese society, being evident the integration of Portugal in the great cycles or migratory movements of the 21st century. | pt_PT |
