Para assegurarmos a preservação de uma colecção, um dos fatores determinantes é o conhecimento do seu passado, do seu percurso histórico bem como dos ambientes / climas onde este permaneceu. O presente trabalho incide sobre o caso de estudo das condições‑ambiente das reservas da Câmara Municipal de Matosinhos, cidade da área metropolitana do Porto (norte de Portugal). A investigação desenvolvida teve como objectivo a avaliação do desempenho higrotérmico da reserva, compreendendo o estudo das condições‑ambiente do interior e do exterior do edifício da autarquia.
One of the most determining factors to assure the preservation of a collection is the knowledge of its past, the historical trajectory and the environmental conditions/climates of its storage and remain. This paper focuses on the environmental conditions of a case study the storage of the City Hall of Matosinhos, an urban center of the metropolitan area in the North of Portugal, Matosinhos. The research carried out undertaken aimed to evaluate the hygrothermal performance of the storage, including the study of the environment conditions of the interior and exterior of the building of the municipality.
