| dc.description.abstract | How does it born and develop the idea of a character? Which strategies are used by professionals from different areas to create characters? How to help artists and students to find the idea? These questions give rise to an interdisciplinary research with goals of scientific knowledge, artistic development and learning promotion. This paper aims to frame theoretically the study, to present the research design and to emphasize preliminary results of its first phase (the exploratory empirical study). The interdisciplinary nature of this investigation is contextualized in the research project “Narrative and visual creation”, a joint work of the groups “Theory of Arts” and “Visual and Interactive Art” of the Research Center for Science and Technology of the Arts (Portuguese Catholic University). | pt_PT |
