| dc.description.abstract | Tendo passado de «Europa de Leste» para «Nova Europa», em que medida viram os países da Europa oriental e central o seu lugar alterado na política externa russa? E que estratégias e instrumentos são usados pelo Kremlin nas suas relações com estes países, passados 25 anos da queda do muro de Berlim? Só formalmente Moscovo olha para esta região como parte integrante da «velha Europa» e do ocidente. A crescente assertividade nas suas relações com esses países confirma essa diferença de olhar e revela como o Kremlin se sente ameaçado a vários níveis pelo sucesso da transição democrática daquela região europeia. A «nova Europa» faz sentir a sua voz e o seu peso na área euro-atlântica e, em consequência, a Rússia esta insatisfeita. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | Having transformed themselves from«Eastern Europe» to «New Europe», did the countries from Eastern and Central Europe see their place in Russian foreign policy changed? And what instruments and strategies has the Kremlin been using in its relations with these countries 25 years after the fall of the Berlin Wall? Only apparently does Moscow see this region as an integral part of «Old Europe» and the West. The growing assertiveness of its relations with these countries confirms a different view and shows that the Kremlin is feeling threatened by their successful democratic transitions. «New Europe» is finding it has an ative and respected voice within the euro-atlantic area.
