| dc.description.abstract | O autor analisa, neste estudo, as condições históricas que conduziram ao estabelecimento, em 1567, da Congregação de Santa Maria de Alcobaça, procurando avaliar a situação das abadias cistercienses nos alvores de Quinhentos, o papel dos grandes-comendatários à frente dos destinos dos monges alcobacenses, com especial incidência sobre a acção do Cardeal D. Henrique, finalizando com algumas considerações em torno da “nova imagem” observante e maior vocação pastoral “ad gentes” que a Ordem assume no Portugal dos Séculos XVI e XVII. | por |
| dc.description.abstract | The author analyses, in this paper, the historical conditions that leaded to the establishment, in 1567, of the Congregation of saint Mary of Alcobaça, in searching to evaluate the state of the Cistercians abbeys in the beginnings of the 16th century and the roll of the great-commendatory ahead the destiny of the monks of Alcobaça, focusing the action of the Cardinal D. Henrique and ending with some considerations around the new observant image and major missionary vocation ad gentes the Order assumed in Portugal during the 16th and 17th centuries. | |
