| dc.description.abstract | O Editorial começa com uma saudação aos leitores e com agradecimentos à direcção da Sociedade Científica e ao Conselho de Arbitragem. Seguidamente traça uma panorâmica e faz um ponto da si tuação da Gaudium Sciendi à data de publicação do 5º número e refere a criação de um Conselho Consultivo. Entre os objectivos já enunciados no 1º número, destaca -se a intenção de proporcionar "a alegria do saber" e de ser uma plataforma de divulgação e partilha através da Internet de trabalhos científicos resultantes de investigação. Além de artigos de fundo provenientes de várias áreas de estudo, a Gaudium Sciendi publica também "Poesia", "Recensões Críticas", "Entrevistas" e "Cartas à Directora" que constituem diferentes secções da revista. A Directora, depois de mencionar as vantagens da versão electrónica sobre a impressa, termina com um pedido de colaborações (Call for papers), uma apresentação dos diferentes artigos e uma solicitação aos membros da Soc iedade Científica no sentido de cooperarem na Gaudium Sciendi. | por |
| dc.description.abstract | The Editorial starts with greetings to the readers and thanks to the Board of the Scientific Society and to the Blind Peer Reviewers. Afterwards the Editor delineates a panoramic view and makes a point of the situation of the magazine at the time of the publication of the 5th number and mentions the creation of an Advisory Board. As already stated in the 1st number, one of the objectives of Gaudium Sciendi is to spread the "the joy of knowing". It also intends to be a platform of sharing and publishing of scientific papers in the Internet, that result from research activities. Besides the master articles originating from different study areas, Gaudium Sciendi also publishes "Poetry", "Reviews", "Interviews" and "Letters to the Editor" which constitute some of the sections of the magazine. Having mentioned the advantages of the electronic over the printed version, the Editor ends up her text with a Call for Papers, a presentation of the different articles and a request to the members of the Scientific Society to collaborate with Gaudium Sciendi. | eng |
