A psicologia da Gestalt foi utilizada por Cesare Brandi na conservação e restauro, nomeadamente na interpretação e tratamento das lacunas. Este artigo dá a conhecer a psicologia da forma usada por Brandi e explora a influência das Leis da Organização da Percepção na interpretação da lacuna, a sua importância na selecção das técnicas de reintegração cromática e consequentemente no reconhecimento das mesmas. Como caso de estudo, foi escolhida a obra “Ressurreição de Lázaro”, uma pintura quinhentista pertencente à Charola do Convento de Cristo, em Tomar.
The Gestalt psychology was use by Cesare Brandi in the conservation and restoration, especially in the interpretation and treatment of the losses. This article let know the form psychology used by Brandi and explore the influence and the importance of the Perceptual Organization Laws in the interpretation of the losses, the selection of the chromatic techniques and therefore in the recognition of the same ones. As study case, was chosen the work “Resurrection of Lazarus”, a 16th painting of the Charola of the Convento de Cristo, in Tomar.
