Resumo(s)
Carlos Farinha is an award-winning painter whose creations surprise us by the narrative character through which his figurative style responds to postmodernity. Formed in António Arroio School of Arts and Lisbon Faculty of Fine Arts, he deals with themes of Ensor, Ernst, Otto Dix, Hopper, Liu Ye's, Neo Rauch, Mark Ryden and Paula Rego. His creations are represented in national and international institutions and he participated in individual and collective exhibitions in Lisbon, Paris, London, Beijing and Dyiabarkir. His vision has been appreciated by the civic causes he embraces and by the record of the ephemeral he glorifies. Painter of encounters, he leads us to narratives and figurative chronicles where art and passion are combined.
