A temática da responsabilidade social empresarial (RSE) tem adquirido crescente relevância nas discussões contemporâneas, sendo um fator cada vez mais considerado na avaliação das organizações. Assim, este estudo teve como principal objetivo analisar se uma empresa do setor da cosmética adota práticas de responsabilidade social (RS) e de que forma essas práticas são incorporadas no processo de desenvolvimento dos seus produtos, contribuindo para a melhoria da sua qualidade. Para responder ao objetivo, foi desenvolvido um estudo de caso com a empresa brasileira KHOR COSMETICS. Os resultados obtidos, através da realização de uma entrevista semiestruturada e da análise de documentação interna, indicam que a empresa adota efetivamente práticas de responsabilidade social. Verificou-se que essas práticas constituem uma mais-valia na relação com os clientes e influenciam diretamente os seus processos produtivos, contribuindo para uma melhoria da qualidade dos produtos oferecidos.
The topic of corporate social responsibility has gained increasing relevance in contemporary discussions and is becoming an increasingly important factor in the evaluation of organizations. Accordingly, the main objective of this study was to analyze whether a company in the cosmetics sector adopts social responsibility practices and how these practices are incorporated into its product development process, contributing to improved product quality.
