| dc.description.abstract | A proposta do artigo é discutir a questão da interpretação historiográfica sobre a visão dos índios na América Portuguesa e da análise de como se deu o contato entre colonizadores e os habitantes da América Portuguesa – descobrimento/achamento, encontro/contato ou invasão/conquista? Tem como objetivo analisar essa aproximação em si, e também o que esse processo representou tanto para colonizadores quanto para colonizados. A investigação foi dividida em quatro momentos. Num primeiro momento, analisaremos as características da viagem à América Portuguesa e o pioneirismo de Portugal nessas descobertas. No segundo momento, faremos um exame sobre a questão da intencionalidade dessa viagem, se as terras do Novo Mundo já eram conhecidas ou se essa chegada às novas terras se deu sem intenção prévia. Num terceiro momento, investigaremos como se deu esse processo por três perspectivas: descobrimento/achamento, encontro/contato e invasão/conquista. No quinto momento situaremos a visão dos índios na perspectiva eurocentrista. Para finalizar a referida pesquisa, faremos uma conclusão com um posicionamento em relação à esse processo e de como se deu esse complexo procedimento de aproximação entre índios e Portugueses. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | The purpose of the article is to discuss the issue of historiographical interpretation of the vision of the Indians in Portuguese America and analysis of how was the contact between settlers and the inhabitants of Portuguese America - discovery / finding, meeting / contact or invasion / achievement? The goal of such research is analyze this approach itself, and also that this process represented both settlers and for colonized. The research was divided into four stages. At first, we analyze the characteristics of the trip to Portuguese America, and the pioneering of Portugal these findings. In the second time, we did a survey on the issue of intentionality that trip, if the lands of the New World were already known or if this arrival to the new land was given without intention. Thirdly, we investigate how this process took place three perspectives: discovery / finding, meeting / contact and invasion / conquest. In the fifth chapter we situate the vision of the Indians in the Eurocentric perspective. To finish this research, we made a conclusion with a position in relation to this process as happened this complex approach procedure between Indians and Portuguese. | pt_PT |
