| dc.description.abstract | Os abusos sexuais são um problema transversal que afeta diferentes sociedades. Outubro de 2017 assumiu-se como um período de viragem, devido ao aparecimento do movimento #MeToo. Neste artigo, propomo-nos analisar os conteúdos publicados por três jornais online portugueses para responder a: 1) qual a representatividade do movimento na imprensa online portuguesa? Foi feito o levantamento do conteúdo das notícias, a fim de aferir: 2) a diferença ou semelhança entre conteúdos publicados pelos jornais online em análise. Do estudo feito, conclui-se que há maior proliferação de informação nos media nacionais de notícias relacionadas com o impacto do movimento no panorama internacional e pouca representatividade do movimento em casos portugueses. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | Sexual assault is a cross-cutting problem that affects different societies. October 2017 was heralded as a turning point due to the emergence of the #MeToo movement. In this article, we intend to analyse data published by three Portuguese online newspapers to answer the question: 1) what is the representativeness of the movement in the Portuguese online press? News content was retrieved in order to ascertain: 2) the difference or similarity between the contents published by the online newspapers under analysis. We conclude that there is greater dissemination of information in the national news media regarding the impact of the movement on the international stage and little representativeness of the movement in the Portuguese setting. | pt_PT |
