O coaching: a perspetiva do coach e do coachee

O coaching tem-se disseminado pelo mundo, sendo um processo bastante utilizado nas vertentes pessoal e organizacional/executiva, em prol da concretização de metas estabelecidas. Neste sentido, tendo em conta a importância deste tema e a escassa informação existente na literatura portuguesa sobre o mesmo, considerou-se pertinente o seu estudo. Com o objetivo perceber qual o impacto que o coach, no processo de coaching, tem nas vertentes profissionais e pessoais do coachee, adotou-se uma metodologia qualitativa, com recurso a 26 entrevistas - 13 coaches e 13 coachees. A análise de conteúdo das respostas corroborou o que está espelhado na literatura.
Coaching has been disseminated around the world, being a process widely used in the personal and organisational/executive areas, for the achievement of established goals. Therefore, taking into account the importance of this topic and the scarce information existing in the Portuguese literature on it, it was considered pertinent to study it. In order to understand the impact that the coach, in the coaching process, has on the professional and personal aspects of the coachee, a qualitative methodology was adopted, using 26 interviews - 13 coaches and 13 coachees. The content analysis of the answers corroborated what is reflected in the literature.
