| dc.description.abstract | The goal of this study is to measure the impacts of the ECB monetary policy between 2005 and 2021 on publicly listed Europeans banks, in a first stage measuring the effectiveness of monetary policy on its lending balances and, in a second stage, quantifying the Negative Interest Policy Rate (NIPR) period at profitability level, using the Net Interest Income (NIM) and Return on Assets (ROA) to measure the effects. The next chapters are organized by describing firstly the methodology and data used, followed by the analysis of each of the topics that are the key objective, and thereafter I draw the conclusions of the empirical analysis. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | O objectivo deste estudo é medir o impacto da política monetária do BCE entre 2005 e 2021 nos bancos europeus cotados, numa primeira fase medindo a eficácia da política monetária nos seus saldos de crédito concedido pelas instuuições financeiras e, numa segunda fase, quantificando o período da politica de Taxa de Juro Negativa (NIPR) ao nível da rentabilidade, utilizando a Margem de Intermediação de Juros (NIM) e o Rtorno sobre os Ativos (ROA) para medir os efeitos. Os capítulos seguintes estão organizados descrevendo em primeiro lugar a metodologia e os dados utilizados, seguidos da análise de cada um dos tópicos que constituem o objectivo-chave, e depois tiro as conclusões da análise empírica. | pt_PT |
