A receção e implementação do ordenamento jurídico português das pronúncias, e recomendações, dos Comités das Nações Unidas, pois o Estado português é parte de inúmeros Protocolos facultativos que reconhecem as competências quase jurisdicionais de receber e apreciar as comunicações apresentadas por vítimas de violações dos direitos reconhecidos pelos tratados internacionais dos direitos humanos. A implementação das recomendações no âmbito destes Protocolos não é muito conhecida a nível doutrinal e jurisprudencial em Portugal. Apesar de não ser visto como uma instância puramente judicial, o pronunciamento destes Comités, enquanto instância convencional, também contribui com certas características da autoridade interpretativa e da vinculatividade convencional para assegurar o cumprimento das obrigações estatais para com os tratados internacionais ratificados, incluindo os seus protocolos.
The reception and implementation of the Portuguese legal system of the pronouncements, and recommendations, of the United Nations Committees, since the Portuguese State is part of numerous optional Protocols that recognize the quasi-jurisdictional competences to receive and appreciate the communications presented by victims of violations of rights recognized by international human rights treaties. The implementation of the recommendations within the scope of these Protocols is not well known at the doctrinal and jurisprudential level in Portugal.
