Abstract(s)
Com este artigo pretende-se expor as principais dificuldades sentidas por parte dos discentes da unidade curricular Som e Imagem (Licenciatura em Comunicação Social e Cultural da Faculdade de Ciências Humanas da Universidade Católica Portuguesa) durante a pandemia COVID-19. Parte da unidade curricular foi lecionada, primeiramente, numa vertente unicamente online, passando para uma componente mista durante a segunda metade do semestre (presencial e online). Contudo, ao contrário do que se previa, as dificuldades que os estudantes revelaram não residiram na compreensão e domínio dos programas ou material de captação e edição de som e imagem lecionado, mas sim na compreensão da importância da estética na concessão de uma obra de cariz artístico e no uso legal de obras criadas por terceiros na concretização das suas. Dois temas essenciais para a vida profissional futura dos mesmos. Por este motivo, o artigo em questão visa retratar estas temáticas e as metodologias aplicadas na resolução dos problemas encontrados, assim como mostrar a importância que a exposição correta destes dois temas tem para o futuro profissional dos discentes.
This article aims to expose the main difficulties experienced by students of the Sound and Image curricular unit (Degree in Social and Cultural Communication, Faculty of Human Sciences, Catholic University of Portugal) during the COVID-19 pandemic. Part of the curricular unit was taught, firstly, in a purely online component, moving to a mixed component during the second half of the semester (classroom and online). However, contrary to what was expected, the difficulties that the students revealed did not reside in the understanding and mastery of the software or material for capturing and editing sound and image contents, but in understanding the importance of aesthetics in the design of an artistic work of nature and the legal use of works created by third parties in the creation of their own. Two essential themes for their future professional life. For this reason, the article in question aims to portray these themes and the methodologies applied in solving the problems encountered, as well as showing the importance that the correct exposure of these two themes has for the professional future of the students.
