Abstract(s)
How can we respond to an uncomfortable, well-identified observation that the identity root of the CNE is not summoned to give meaning to the configuration of personal identity with regard to affectivity and sexuality? How can we bring these areas of shadow to the light of the Gospel and of the Christian faith in an educational proposal that is intended to be integral? How can the leaders of the CNE be able to fully assume the mission of educators who welcome, listen, accompany and propose to children and young people the horizon of a happy life, in which the person of Jesus Christ takes nothing away from what is great and beautiful and happy in life? These are some of the questions that led to the Entre Linhas project. Conceived at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, it was assumed as an initiative of the CNE, under the coordination of the National Assistant, and sought relevant partners in the scouting and ecclesial panorama: Movimiento Scouts Católico, from Spain (MSC), Europe/Mediterranean committee of the International Catholic Conference of Scouting (CICE), Faculty of Theology of the Catholic University of Portugal and National Secretariat for Christian Education. This project has found invaluable generous support from the Porticus Foundation.
