O empreendedorismo é cada vez mais amplamente defendido e visto como um motor de inovação para o crescimento económico. Pesquisas recentes reconhecem o potencial transformador das novas tecnologias, que permitem o desenvolvimento dos negócios e servem para mitigar e neutralizar os grandes desafios ambientais e sociais. O empreendedorismo digital é cada vez mais um fenómeno em ascensão, quer transformando os negócios jÔ existentes em digitais, quer na criação de empresas digitais. As novas possibilidades oferecidas pelo e-commerce são consideradas ferramentas úteis para empresas e consumidores, que devem ser reconhecidos como boas alternativas para um adequado desempenho online dos negócios. à com base nesta premissa que este estudo procura compreender como as empresas utilizam cada vez mais as redes sociais, quer para atrair novos clientes, quer para criar negócios digitais.
Entrepreneurship is increasingly being widely defended and seen as an economic innovation engine for growth. Recent research recognizes the transformative potential of new technologies, technologies that serve to mitigate and neutralize the great environmental and social challenges through the entrepreneur. It is given the recent technologies that the logical and digital challenges, the digital becomes a phenomenon on the rise, both for a digital of existing businesses, but also in the promotion and entrepreneurship of digital companies. Debates on studies of digital entrepreneurship have been published in several studies. The new possibilities offered by e-commerce are considered great as companies and consumers, which must be recognized as great alternatives that represent an adequate performance online. It is according to this premise that this study seeks to understand how companies increasingly use social networks, both to attract new customers and to create new digital businesses.
