Considerando os profundos desafios que o progresso tecnológico próprio dos tempos hodiernos representam para o Direito, as Talks do presente ano letivo foram dedicadas, justamente, ao tema Direito e Tecnologia. O objetivo foi, concretamente, discutir os problemas suscitados por certos avanços tecnológicos à luz das diferentes áreas do saber jurídico, nomeadamente a Filosofia do Direito, o Direito Público, o Direito Penal e o Direito Privado. As Católica Talks, do Católica Research Centre for the Future of Law, são um espaço de discussão aberta e informal sobre questões jurídicas que constituem objeto de investigação do orador convidado.
Considering the profound challenges that the technological progress of today's times represents for Law, the Talks of the current academic year were dedicated, precisely, to the theme of Law and Technology. The objective was, specifically, to discuss the problems raised by certain technological advances in the light of the different areas of legal knowledge, namely the Philosophy of Law, Public Law, Criminal Law and Private Law.
