| dc.description.abstract | The Portuguese philosopher António Quadros, assuming himself as a free thinker, seeks to establish a dialogue between philosophy, theology, science, and religious spirituality, without giving up his institutional link to the Catholic Church. He identifies the manifestation of God in the sensitive reality of the Cosmos and in the spiritual reality of cultural creation, conceiving a teleological movement of all existence toward an eschatological plenitude of fraternal harmony and immortal coexistence. He develops a metaphysics that aims to rationally explain the relationship between the infinite divine initiative and the finite worldly dynamism conditioned by death and evil, that is, the relationship between necessary eternity and contingent temporality. We will seek to present in this study how the author conceives the teleological movement of divine providence in the context of a contemporary worldview that recognizes the autonomy of natural laws and free decisions in the historical development of the world. | eng |
| dc.description.abstract | O filósofo português António Quadros, assumindo-se como um pensador livre, procura estabelecer um diálogo entre filosofia, teologia, ciência e espiritualidade religiosa, sem abdicar do seu vínculo institucional à Igreja Católica. Identifica a manifestação de Deus na realidade sensível do Cosmos e na realidade espiritual da criação cultural, concebendo um movimento teleológico de toda a existência para uma plenitude escatológica de fraterna harmonia e imortal convivência. Desenvolve uma metafísica que pretende explicar racionalmente a relação entre a infinita iniciativa divina e o dinamismo mundano finito e condicionado pela morte e pelo mal, ou seja, a relação entre a eternidade necessária e a temporalidade contingente. Procuraremos apresentar neste estudo de que maneira o autor concebe o movimento teleológico da providência divina no contexto de uma mundividência contemporânea que reconhece a autonomia das leis naturais e das decisões livres no desenvolvimento histórico do mundo. | por |
