- O "tradicional" e o streaming : uma comparação das estratégias de comunicação de produtos audiovisuaisPublication . Aguiar, Ana Catarina Santos; Fernandes, Anna Carolina Boechat ChavesO presente trabalho concentrou-se na análise comparativa das estratégias de comunicação utilizadas em produtos audiovisuais em Portugal, tanto em canais televisivos tradicionais quanto em plataformas streaming, com base numa amostra exclusivamente portuguesa, com o objetivo de compreender de que forma as estratégias de comunicação influenciam a escolha dos consumidores na visualização de conteúdos audiovisuais. A metodologia adotada envolveu a recolha de dados por meio de um questionário. Ficou evidenciado que as estratégias de comunicação influenciam a escolha dos consumidores na visualização de conteúdos audiovisuais em canais de televisão e plataformas streaming de várias maneiras. A comunicação marcante e campanhas eficazes de marketing relacional são essenciais para estabelecer uma ligação forte e de lealdade à marca, o que é particularmente relevante para as plataformas streaming, onde a amostra demonstrou maior lealdade devido à perceção de melhor qualidade de conteúdos e maior satisfação com os serviços. A Comunicação Integrada de Marketing (CIM), que alterna estratégias online e offline, tem um impacto moderado e positivo nos consumidores, embora a interação direta com as comunicações das empresas seja limitada. A interação e a participação nas redes sociais tem um impacto positivo na popularidade e consumo de conteúdos, com influências significativas vindas de amigos, influenciadores e conteúdos virais. Finalmente, a CIM tem um impacto positivo moderado na decisão de consumo dos consumidores, proporcionando uma comunicação variada e informativa sobre os produtos. Embora haja uma influência da CIM no comportamento dos consumidores, há espaço para melhorias nas estratégias de comunicação para aumentar a lealdade e o envolvimento do público com os conteúdos.
- Effects of glyoxylic acid on metabolism and ripening of ‘Rocha’ pears treated with 1-MCPPublication . Dias, Cindy; Sousa, Clara; Vasconcelos, Marta W.; Ferrante, António; Pintado, ManuelaThe application of 1-methylcyclopropene (1-MCP) is widely used to extend the storage life of climacteric fruits, such as ‘Rocha’ pears. However, the suppression of ethylene’s action by 1-MCP often results in excessive ripening delay, compromising fruit quality and consumer acceptance. In this study, we investigated the potential of glyoxylic acid (GLA) to counteract the effects of 1-MCP and promote ripening. To evaluate this, ‘Rocha’ pears treated with 1-MCP were exposed to 3% (m/v) GLA and stored at 20 ± 2 °C for 15 days. Typical ripening indicators, such as firmness, skin color, ethylene production, respiration rate, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), sugars, and the activity of ethylene biosynthetic enzymes, were measured. Our results indicate that GLA did not induce significant effects on the ripening response, as ethylene production remained comparable to that of the control. Consequently, no significant changes in firmness, skin yellowing, or sugar content were observed in the GLA-treated pears. However, GLA significantly increased respiration rates (approximately 57%) and induced higher emissions of stress-associated VOCs, including hexanal, (E)-2-hexenal, and ethanol. This suggests that GLA may influence metabolic pathways related to energy metabolism and redox homeostasis without necessarily triggering ethylene-induced ripening. This study provides new insights into the interactions between GLA, 1-MCP, and fruit development, contributing to the development of alternative strategies to manage the effects of 1-MCP in ‘Rocha’ pear storage.
- Nursing interventions for people at risk of venous thromboembolism associated with chemotherapy: scoping reviewPublication . This risk increases in people undergoing chemotherapy. This complication causes physical and emotional suffering, and targeted nursing interventions are essential. Objective: To map the scientific evidence on nursing interventions to prevent and manage venous thromboembolism in people with cancer undergoing chemotherapy. Methods: Scoping Review according to the methodology of the Joanna Briggs Institute. The research was conducted in the MEDLINE® and CINAHL® databases in April 2023. The review followed the PRISMA-ScR EQUATOR checklist. Results: Twenty-six articles published between 2004 and 2023 were included. After analysis, three main dimensions emerged: assessment of the risk of venous thromboembolism, independent interventions, and interdependent interventions. Conclusion: Nurses play a crucial role in preventing and managing venous thromboembolism, using a systematised approach to risk assessment, education, monitoring for signs and/or symptoms of these complications, and implementing targeted interventions.
