Azevedo, Carolina Pinto Monteiro Coelho; Catita, José António MoraisBiosciences are one of the most important areas in the world nowadays, due to their scientific diversity related to the study of life and living organisms, conserving biodiversity. Carrying out research into bioscience markets is a fundamental step for companies, as it is one of the most promising areas of the global economy, driven by technological advances and global needs. In this way, companies are able to maintain their position and constantly evolve. This report presents the work carried out at Paralab, where I had the opportunity to take part in tasks in the company’s marketing department, in this case carrying out market research, specifically in Spain. During the internship, the company’s portfolio of brands was discovered, strategies were created to collect information from research centers and institutions, i.e. potencial clients, and a platform was developed to connect all the data collected. Throughout the internship, as well as consolidating knowledge of marketing, especially a theoretical and practical understanding of market research, there was a significant improvement in personal skills, especially time and task management, as well as communication and critical thinking.
