| dc.description.abstract | Com certa frequência se ouve falar na dificuldade em compaginar a vivência da experiência cristã e a dimensão da contemporaneidade. Por vezes – demasiadas vezes – parece ficar a ideia de que uma realidade se opõe à outra. Será possível, de facto, apostar na construção da identidade cristã e simultaneamente assumir a condição de cidadão? Para o autor, não só é possível, como é indispensável e necessário. A opção cristã implica obrigatoriamente a dimensão da encarnação, o que compromete com a edificação da cidade humana em cada momento do percurso histórico da humanidade. Não é possível assumir o compromisso cristão sem simultaneamente assumir o compromisso e a corresponsabilidade da construção da história humana. | por |
| dc.description.abstract | Mention is regularly made of the difficulty of uniting Christian experience and the dimension of contemporaneousness. Quite often – too often – the impression we gain is that one reality is opposed to the other. Is it in fact viable to build a Christian identity while at the same time assuming the condition of being a citizen? The choice of being a Christian implies ipso facto the dimension of incarnation, which demands the building of the human city at every moment in the historical course of humanity. It is not possible to fulfil Christian commitment without also accepting a commitment and a joint responsibility for the building of human history. | |
