React positively to cytochrome c oxidase and negatively to catalase tests. Sole carbon sources include sugars, organic acids, and amino acids. The DNA G+C content ranges between 63 and 66 mol%. Major fatty acids are C16:1 ω7c and C16:0. Phylogenetically, belong to the family Chromobacteriaceae. The type species is Pseudogulbenkiania subflava and the genus includes also the species Pseudogulbenkiania gefcensis. "Pseudogulbenkiania ferrooxidans" is a non-validly published name. | pt_PT |
