| dc.description.abstract | The present article presents the possibility of a dialogical and fruitful relation between philosophy and theology, over and against criticisms of Christian thought that have arisen in some postmodern antihumanist circles. It intends to show that theology acts as “magistra” for philosophy in a Socratic sense: it helps to form the philosopher’s soul in a Socratic manner. This historicdoctrinal reality can be traced in a number of topics in the history of philosophy, which are in dialogue with realities that have arisen from revelation, such as the theology of creation, sacramental theology or the dogma of incarnation. In particular, the contribution of theology to philosophy concerning the study of “nature” in the 12th century is presented as an example. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | El presente artículo presenta la hipótesis de una relación dialogada y fecunda entre la filosofía y la teología, ante la situación de cierto descrédito de la tradición del pensamiento cristiano operado por cierto pensamiento postmoderno antihumanista. Se trata de mostrar como la teología ha actuado como ‘magistra’ de la filosofía en el sentido socrático: ayudando de forma mayéutica al alma del filósofo. Esta realidad histórico-doctrinal se puede rastrear en no pocos tópicos de la filosofía a través de su historia, que tienen como interlocutor las realidades nacidas de la Revelación como la teología de la creación, la teología sacramental o el dogma de la Encarnación. En concreto se presenta como ejemplo la aportación que la teología ha hecho a la filosofía a partir de la reflexión sobre la “naturaleza” en el siglo XII. | |
