Para lá da história da receção da Mensagem de Fátima, na qual muitas vezes o Segredo foi reduzido ao nível do secreto, importa auscultar as fontes desta Mensagem nos relatos das Aparições, para aí haurir a trama e o sentido do que é chamado segredo, segredo esse que nas suas partes está hoje totalmente revelado após a decisão de João Paulo II no ano 2000. Quando comparamos este património com os vários significados da temática bíblica do segredo, encontramos muitas afinidades e semelhanças, o que permite construir uma continuidade entre a mensagem de Fátima e a linguagem bíblica do segredo.
Besides what history has shown on the reception the Message of Fatima has received, often the subject/theme of “secrecy” was reduced to what remains secret. Therefore, it is important to listen to the sources of the Message of Fatima in the apparitions narratives in order to check there the sense of what is called in a common way “secret”, which is nowadays fully known in all its parts, since in the year two thousand saint John Paul II has thus decided. When we compare all this with the biblical contents on this matter, we will discover many resemblances which allow to build a common picture and a continuity between both data.
