A presente obra - Bernard Lonergan e a Filosofia Aplicada - apresenta uma seleção de comunicações aos Colóquios Lonergan, levados a cabo na Universidade Católica Portuguesa entre 2009 e 2014. Estes Colóquios têm dado continuidade à recepção de Lonergan em Portugal, iniciada em 2007 pela Revista Portuguesa de Filosofia, e continuada em 2010 com a edição portuguesa de Insight; Um ensaio sobre o Conhecimento, com tradução e revisão científica de Mendo Castro Henriques e Artur Morão, do Centro de Estudo de Filosofia (CEFi). Nas várias secções são abordados âmbitos de reflexão que realçam a transversalidade do pensamento lonerganiano nas dimensões filosófica, teológica e económica.
This book - Bernard Lonergan and Applied Philosophy - presents a selection of papers from the Lonergan Colloquia, held at the Catholic University of Portugal between 2009 and 2014. These Colloquia have followed on from the reception of Lonergan in Portugal, initiated in 2007 by the Revista Portuguesa de Filosofia, and continued in 2010 with the Portuguese edition of Insight; Um ensaio sobre o Conhecimento, with translation and scientific revision by Mendo Henriques and Artur Morão, of the Centre for the Study of Philosophy (CEFi). The various chapters of this book cover different areas of reflection that highlight the transversal nature of Lonergan's thought in its philosophical, theological, and economic dimensions.
