Abstract(s)
The aim of this paper is to make a comparative reading from the concept of justice in Antigone of Sophocles and in the book of Job. In the first place we justify the comparison that is made, taking as a starting point the literary genre of the book of Job in relation to the Greek tragedy, in order to show the suggestive character of this comparison. Secondly, a brief outline of the concept of justice in the Greek tradition is drawing and it shows how it maintains a continuity in the biblical tradition, although it does register some specific aspects that are proper to it. Finally, we try to see how there is an analogy between the main characters of the two works, in relation to the notion of justice.
