A análise do poema “O Navio Negreiro”, de Castro Alves, leva-nos a perceber a posição tomada pelo autor contra a escravatura, revelando compaixão e uma visão emotiva da viagem dos escravos e do seu fado. The analysis of the poem “O Navio Negreiro”, by Castro Alves, makes us realize the author’s position against slavery, always expressing some compassion and an emotive vision of the slaves’ travel and of their fate.
