Este presente estudo apresenta com frontalidade uma visão cristã do amor, enquanto decorrente sobretudo da complementaridade sexual varão/mulher, como uma possível resposta teológica cristã à “ideologia de género” e às suas consequên-cias. Partindo da ponderação: do caminho histórico de formação de tal ideologia; da explicação da mesma; e daquelas mencionadas consequências, a suprarreferida visão emerge de um possível esboço da mensagem que o livro do “Cântico dos Cânticos” aduz sobre tal amor. Isto é feito ao mesmo tempo em articulação criteriosa com o que sobre esta mensagem disseram alguns dos mais significativos místicos cristãos.
This study presents, with a frank stance, a Christian understanding of love, primarily due to sexual complementarity between men and women, as a possible Christian theological response to “Gender Ideology” and its consequences. Beginning with the consideration of: the historical path that was followed to develop such ideology; the explanation of this ideology; and the above mentioned consequences, the aforementioned vision emerges from a possible sketch of the message that the book of Song of Songs says about such love. This is done in careful articulation with what some of the most significant Christian mystics have said about this same message.
