| dc.description.abstract | This presentation explores the strategic initiatives led by the Libraries of Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP) to foster a robust Open Science ecosystem. Through a series of "Special Projects," the library has transitioned from maintaining isolated technical systems to managing integrated community infrastructures. Key platforms highlighted include Ciência-UCP, which manages over 19,000 Open Access outputs and 1,600 active researcher profiles; the UCP Scientific Journals portal, which hosts 26 Open Access titles including Diamond OA; and the Open Books initiative by UCP Press. By centering the library as a digital gateway, these projects enhance the visibility, accessibility, and connectivity of institutional knowledge for global audiences. | eng |
