| dc.description.abstract | A existência de baixa literacia em saúde é atualmente um desafio para a comunidade, pois cada vez mais somos bombardeados com informação clínica cada vez mais diversificada. Desta forma, temos de acompanhar todo o desenvolvimento deste tipo de informação, para que tenhamos acesso a melhores fontes de informação e capacidade para a processar. No entanto, isto nem sempre é possível, existindo ainda dificuldades na compreensão de informações clínicas do âmbito da saúde. Existem inúmeras razões para isto acontecer, e como tal, é necessário identificar a causa da baixa compreensão e literacia em saúde, de forma a implementar as ferramentas mais adequadas para a resolução do problema. A Associação Cura+ surge como uma associação de promoção e educação para a saúde, com projetos dirigidos às diferentes faixas etárias e às necessidades de cada uma. In this way, we must follow all the development of this type of information, so that we have access to better sources of information and the ability to process it. However, this is not always possible, and there are still difficulties in understanding clinical information in the field of health. There are many reasons for this, and as such, it is necessary to identify the cause of poor understanding and health literacy, in order to implement the most appropriate tools to solve the problem. Associação Cura + appears as an association of promotion and education for health, with projects directed to the different age groups and the needs of each one.
