The search for innovation and differentiation in products and services is a constant. In order for them to prosper in the future, it is necessary to start with a solid, sustainable business model that is closest to reality. This dissertation intends to present an attractive business model for a new concept and automatic beer service: BeerNow. BeerNow is an automatic beer vending system that is activated by a smartphone application, whose location is intended to be in areas allusive to the nightlife of Lisbon. This business aims to revolutionize the method of ordering a beer these days, focusing on its values: efficiency, sustainability, practicability and quality. In order to test and validate the concept and business model developed in this dissertation it was made an analysis of the beer industry, a logarithmic multinomial regression, a social focus group, a survey to determine which factors define the ideal customer and how to reach them, a prediction of the number of downloads, interviews with key stakeholders and a cost and revenues estimation to understand if the service would be profitable. We can conclude that the service, concept and innovation that BeerNow provides, could have a bright future. At the moment, the prototype of the machine is being developed in partnership with the Instituto Superior Técnico, which will move the business model from paper to real life.
