Want2Learn: a model of online learning
One of the objectives of this communication is to disseminate the blending learning training programme Want2Learn, built and tested in an international partnership of six countries: Denmark, England, Sweden, Greece, Hungary and Portugal, within the Leonardo da Vinci Programme and available on the website http://www.sthelens.ac.uk/want2learn/
The use of online systems for learning management and collaborative work, allows leveraging diversified forms of teaching and learning, identifying pathways for training, anywhere anytime, facilitating a more formative evaluation, thus helping to promote lifelong learning (LLL).
Want2Learn is based on this paradigm, since the development of a blended learning modules and communication tools to promote understanding of organisational culture and use of intercultural competences and diversity, along with development of the capacity of individual workers and managers to successfully cope with a variety of common challenges and dilemmas of today's (inter)cultural society.
