Resumo(s)
Este Relatório de Estágio “Cuidar a Pessoa para além da Cura”, foi redigido com o
máximo rigor científico em que assenta a Medicina Paliativa e com base nos valores da
bioética e ainda outros essenciais como a compaixão, o respeito e a dignidade pela pessoa
e que cunham a prática desta disciplina.
Neste documento, que se enquadra no Mestrado em Cuidados Paliativos, pretende-se
explanar quais as estratégias utilizadas para pôr em prática os conteúdos adquiridos
durante os dois anos de aulas teóricas, considerando sempre a prestação de cuidados de
saúde que respeitam a dignidade da pessoa doente e têm como objetivo o seu conforto.
Começo por descrever sucintamente os três locais de estágio contemplando as respetivas
Equipa, Missão, Organização das atividades, Circuito do doente e Atividade formativa.
Seguidamente apresento os objetivos propostos para os estágios e que visam a área do
cuidar, da gestão, da educação e da investigação.
E finalmente organizo todos os conhecimentos adquiridos durante este tempo seguindo
as oito competências propostas pela European Association for Palliative Care para a
prestação de Cuidados Paliativos.
Concluo ao objetivar como o estágio mudou a minha prática clínica e transformou o meu
olhar perante o doente e a vida.
This Internship Report “Caring for the Person beyond Cure”, was written with the maximum scientific rigor on which Palliative Medicine is based and based on the values of bioethics and other essentials such as compassion, respect and dignity for the person and that coined the practice of this discipline. In this document, which is part of the Master in Palliative Care, it is intended to explain what strategies are used to put into practice the content acquired during the two years of theoretical classes, always considering the provision of health care that respects the dignity of the sick person and aim for your comfort. I begin by briefly describing the three internship locations, including the respective Team, Mission, Organization of activities, Patient circuit and Training activity. Then I present the objectives proposed for the internships and which aim at the area of care, management, education and research. And finally, I organize all the knowledge acquired during this time following the eight competencies proposed by the European Association for Palliative Care for the provision of Palliative Care. I conclude by objectifying how the internship changed my clinical practice and transformed my view of the patient and life
